Hello, Nikon! Countdown 2010 Contest Results 31st Dec 2009 - 3rd Jan 2010
Happy New Year to all you folks and thank you for those who have participated in the Hello, Nikon! Countdown 2010 Contest. The contest was launched on Facebook on the 31st Dec 2009. A Nikon COOLPIX S570 will be given to a Fan with the most interesting New Year wish to Nikon, posted on the wall of the fanpage.
We have received close to 600 wishes in a short 4 days and we are delighted to receive all your new year wishes. The Nikon Asia team of judges consists of the team bringing you this Discover Nikon Facebook initiative.
For this contest, we picked the Top 10 entries based on:
The messages that "reaches" our hearts, just like our slogan that says Nikon - "At the heart of the image"
Overall uniqueness and content of the message
Judging did not take into account grammatical errors
Messages in English or Traditional Chinese language both had equal chance to be picked
Some entries have added videos or picture. This does not earn the participant extra credits as we would still judge based on the text greeting message
